Early 2010 MetamaX finished the installation of its new laser cladding department. MetamaX was the first Dutch company active involved with the setup of a laser cladding department especially equipment for treatment of large hydraulic rods.

All our work with the development of the new laser cladded coatings was rewarded with the prestigious Borghard Award 2010 for being the most innovative company in surface treatment.

Up to today we are developing new coatings to serve our offshore customers with this unique coating system.

MetamaX laser cladded coatings are well known as Max LC 10 ( nickel based alloys ), MaX LC 20 ( cobalt based alloys ) or MaX LC 30 ( iron based alloys )

Our laser cladded coatings can be used both on new parts and as reconditioning of worn out cylinder rods. Capacity is nearly unlimited due to the laser cladding machine that is especially designed for the production of hydraulic rods.

MaX LC 10 / 20 and 30 comply with the regulations of the latest JIP report.
